about us

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Lieberace Consulting Services LLC was founded in 2020 by Julia Kelly, contracts attorney, and Matt Lieb, an industry Level III professional with the goal of providing expert NDE consulting services to NDE providers, fabrication facilities, product manufacturers, and general industry. Matt’s latest full time position was at SpaceX where he was a Level III Specialist in the NDE Engineering group. His primary responsibilities were researching, developing, qualifying, authoring, and implementing PAUT inspections for critical parts that were accepted by NASA and Air Force (Space Force), enabling the Falcon 9 and Dragon vehicles to carry astronauts to the international space station.

Many of these inspections utilize state of the art robotics while pushing the limits of the available instrumentation and software. The inspection systems and procedures Matt developed are still in use today, and he continues to provide exceptional service to SpaceX as a consultant. Prior to SpaceX, Matt worked at Team Industrial Services Inc. as a multidiscipline Level III and Quality Manager providing NDE services to the Philadelphia region, primarily in the refinery, power generation, manufacturing, structural, bridge, and piping industries.

OUR CERTIFICATIONS

We maintain current ASNT NDT Level III professional certifications in UT, MT, PT, and VT along with AWS Certified Welding Inspector. A copy of these certifications can be forwarded upon request. Please ensure these credentials are sufficient to your company’s written practice for any requested work. We can also provide evidence of previous training, experience hours, and previous formal certifications to satisfy Level II and III qualification for MT, PT, UT, VT, PAUT, and PMI to ASNT SNT-TC-1a, CP-189, and NAS-410. We are a registered small business with SAM.gov.
